I'll start with the bad.

The item arrived damaged. There was a hole poked in the packaging but it appeared to be packaged well so I assumed it didn't dent through two layers of boxes. Unfortunately after UPS left I completely unboxed the product and found the backside had been caved in as if kicked or jabbed into something. (I took pictures and uploaded them to the amazon packaging feedback without a response.)

Now, apart from paying for a new filing cabinet and receiving a damaged one, I like it.

The weight on the listing is wrong. It's not 99 pounds, or close to it. I assumed it would be heavy duty because of that listed weight but I would guess it weighs 20-30 pounds when empty. The steel is very thin and prone to denting. A heavy printer will damage the top. I was careful about what I put on it and it still somehow has a dent on the top. I guess I got it on sale, $156 with free shipping so I can't complain too much but it's not high quality if you have high expectations (like me).

Deluxe Laptop Computer Mobile Cart / Table / Stand - Black Review

The best thing about this cart is the four legs which makes it very stable. Unfortunately two of the wheels have locks that you can position on or off but in the off position, if you move the cart, they will flip down to the lock position on their own which becomes really annoying fast as i constantly move the cart. Also the height adjustment is a nuisance because you can't position it exactly where you want it. You have 4 preset holes that you have to choose from and two screw knobs that both have to be adjusted to desired height. My old cart had a sliding scale so you could position it at any increment of height without cmpletely removing the knob like i have to do now. So you have to remove everything from the cart or it will come crashing down. If you have a heavy 17" dino notebook computer like me, it's worth it for the extra stability. The 3 legged carts kept tipping over.

National Hardware N275-693 3-Inch Rigid Door Stop with Holder, Brass Review

I use this door stop which captures the ball of one part in a clip of the other on a heavy solid door between laundry room and garage. The door has two heavy duty spring hinges which really slam the door shut. Rubber floor wedges would not hold it. This door stop has never once failed to hold the door open even in the face of heavy winds with the garage open to the sometimes 30-45 mph winds we get in the Coachella Valley. It has been in use for several years now without fail (at least 5 years). Easy to install. One caveat would be my recommendation to attach which ever piece you put on the wall directly over a stud so that the wall board would have good backing. I have had no problems with any type of damage. It actually takes negligible pressure to either catch the door open or to pull it free. Once the post is mounted, attach the clip holder, hold the door open and see where the clip has to be mounted and mark it. Then it's easy to attach the second part in the correct alignment.

I just got a second one to use on a beach condo's heavy front door similarly equipped with strong spring hinges. I am using this in place of a more expensive kickdown door stop which has a rubber foot that always wants to slide on tile flooring. And it is a nuisance to kick back up and it tends to fall down when the door slams shut due to the spring hinges. Don't have that problem with this neat door stop.

This is a nice product, decently priced. It's pretty sturdy. I have my 24" LCD flat screen monitor standing on it and it's not sagging at all.

At 7" deep, this is much less deep than "desk risers" (which tend to be 12" deep), which is good because I only needed 7" width to support the base of my monitor. Also, it's wide enough to slide a laptop underneath it between the legs. (It's also barely wide enough to slide my keyboard under it, but YMMV, depending upon the width of your keyboard. Space inside the legs is 18.75" from left to right.)

This thing is worth every penny. I had a Tarifold at work for the last 3 years. I quickly filled it and have been wanting something larger to be able to organize all of my charts. Build time: 3 hours instructions are super easy to follow - 4 stars

Modifications: You will have to make some modifications. Not all of the wholes are drilled evenly so you will have to play around with that. Handling the corners of the end product caused the paint/whatever to peel and chip. I am thinking of painting the doors to cover the zebra look.

End product: It serves its purpose, great for holding the computer and the computer stuff. Very light and not very strong. Not a show piece by any means and you may not want to put it next to any other wood grain or faux grain items as it will clash. Not moveable as it will fall apart. If you have to move this item after building please lift from the bottom only. Shorter than thought as well so think about proper chair height - 3 stars

Final thoughts:
I didn't want to spend a lot of cash so I got this. It is not perfect and it is not the best thing and it does look sort of sad the first time you see it finished but it serves it purpose and I am happy with it. I think this woudl be great for dog food or supply storage as well as a kid's room.
If you are looking for a quick fix then here you go. If you are looking for a long time thing that will stand the test of time look elsewhere.
