I had high hopes, and while it is adequate, I would not say it's good. It's thinner than expected. This mat seems too think to really be good for a plush carpet. Maybe medium pile at most? It's starting to dimple a bit after only a month. We'll see how long it lasts. But I'm sure I will be buying another mat before too long.
