This rack is not bad for the price. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble with a fillips head screw driver. If I had used my electric screw driver it would have went faster. I was worried about the stability of the unit but after getting it assembled it is really sturdy. It does use small dowel rods to connect each section and I did use wood glue on them to make sure they stayed in place and to make the unit sturdier.

I wear size 10 1/2 - 11 shoes and the only drawback is that it only holds two pair per shelve.

I also ordered this in black but what I got was white. I really did not want to send it back so I assembled it anyway.
