Fairly decent file cabinet. Could be a bit better quality for what I paid.

PROS: The slides glide easily even with heavy drawers. When you open one drawer, the other drawer is locked closed. This prevents you from having the cabinet fall over with both drawers open. It looks pretty good. A bit darker than I anticipated, but its okay. Dove tail cut drawer corners.

CONS: I only gave this four stars because I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the slides and finish. The drawer slides allow the drawers to shimmy side to side and you can watch the slides 'tweak' laterally. It is really noticeable when they are empty, but not as bad when full. Main reason I noticed this is my desk filling cabinet has about the same style of slides, but beefier. The Finish is almost something you see on a cheaper cabinet. The top appears to be solid with oak wood grain on the top and underneath the top around the sides and front. But there is not any end grain. Not sure what they did to make it look like this, but to me, this look is a cheap.

OTHER NOTE: Shipping: Brooklyn from Everything Furniture is the Amazon representative and was very good to me. They have had shipping problems with a certain carrier. That carrier lost my shipment lost my cabinet. She reordered, gave me a discount, and had another cabinet shipped right away. Thank you Brooklyn!
