I ordered one of these to check its quality: it was excellent. It has "Stanley" imprinted on the back of the mounting bracket. The narrow end of that bracket points up when the doorstop is mounted. I then ordered three more, accidentally choosing a different amazon seller. These turned out to be cheap imitations. They do NOT say "Stanley" on them, and the narrow end of the mounting bracket points down, not up, when the doorstop is mounted. Most importantly, they don't work: they do not stay in the upright, out-of-the-way position when not in use.
