Frog Prince Doorstop Review

This door stop is seriously cute and very well made. The frog prince has lots of detail, including webbed toes and fingers. The wood wedge is black, the frog is verdigris, but the tips of his toes and the tops of his crown are brass. There is nothing cheap looking about this door stop. The bottom of the wedge is covered in a felt-like fabric. There is a slight flaw in the design, in that the frog's toes end half way down the stop, so that only half of the wedge can fit under the door. If your door is fairly high like mine (I have hardwood floors) the door stop just isn't tall enough. However, I stuck a couple of vinyl pads onto the bottom of the wedge, and the stop works perfectly and looks fine with that easy adjustment. I have various door stops from Sun Pacific scattered throughout my house and they still look new after many years of use.
