Adjustable Laptop Caddy (Gray/Anthracite) Review

I purchased this caddy because it was "medium cherry" and it matches my furniture and serves the purpose of having my laptop in any room I want to use it. When I received it, the box was damaged and it was leaking styrofoam chips. I checked the contents and assembled it per instructions. There is a mislabeled screw that connects the bar that holds the caddy top in place--a very important piece as it supports the computer. The screw that was provided for this purpose wouldn't fit into the hole properly because the weld was crooked. I used a washer and jury rigged it but wrote to the company, requesting a replacement for that part, which I received. However, once I tried to connect it, I then realized that the screw indicated on the instructions was not the correct length--was not long enough. So, buy at your own risk; also note that the "cherry" wood grain side of the table top/mouse pad holder is on the bottom; what you see on top is a gray slate, feaux granite surface. I don't understand why the bottom would have the wood grain; who looks at it from the bottom except the cat?

Once I figured out how to put it together sturdily (by myself), it works fine and I like it, but it took a lot of writing, waiting, and rebuilding to get there.
