We have a table lamp in our sunroom that I have been using for reading. Unfortunately the lampshade is dark and even with a 100 watt bulb, reading is difficult in the evening. Not only do I not have a lot of room for a reading lamp around my arm chair but the lamp would need to be unobtrusive because of the decor in the sunroom.

The Kendal is absolutely perfect. Elegant look but unobtrusive to the room. Fits easily in the eight or so inches I have behind the arm chair, and provides more than sufficient light to read by. The flexible goose neck and small brass shade are easy to adjust to any angle and the on-off switch is located on the shaft of the lamp at a height that is easy to access by simply reaching my arm behind me anf flicking it on.

Assembly was a snap and the quality is very good for the price. All in all a five-star winner!
