I was looking for a more comfortable chair for work. Since I spend 8 to 10 hours a day in a chair, it needed to be comfortable, supportive of my back, and fairly adaptable to my geometry. This chair fits the bill in all categories. My employer tends to buy sub $100 chairs which are difficult to assemble because of poor machining tolerances, don't last very long (a couple years) due to poor materials, and are generally uncomfortable after a year or less.
The padding on this chair is several times thicker than a chair in the category mentioned above. It's quite comfortable. It is the only seat I can sit in for long periods of time without feeling like my sciatic nerve is being pinched around my hip (the unfortunate result of an accident). I opted for a 24/7 task chair because I'm tired of chairs wearing down so quickly. While the cushion is warranted for only two years, I don't expect it to have broken down by then since I'm not using it as a 24/7 task chair.
I did have some trouble getting the casters into the base, but after a few weeks of use, they have settled in perfectly. The chair is otherwise pretty easy

I would recommend this chair for anyone who is looking for a comfortable, supportive chair and either can't afford or isn't willing to spend the $500+ required by chairs marketed as ergonomic.
