Update: So I got a new one. The lamp came the way it was supposed to this time and I was able to assemble it at least. However, I was unable to screw in the light bulb I had for the top part. The cap that connects the lamp to the shade is too big and therefore does not allow the bulb to properly fit. I had to remove and so the only thing keeping the shade in place is the bulb itself. Can't give this item more than 3 stars because it at least looks nice. However, not a recommendation.

When I received the product, the packaging was pretty horrible. The fedex box was fine, but the actual box for the lamp looked hastily put together and there were many plastic bags used for cushioning. The styrofoam was broken in a lot of places and the packaging looked old too.
The biggest complaint and the reason for why I am returning this lamp is that one of the segments was upside down. Because of this, I can't even screw the segments together and therefore can't even use this lamp. Seriously, how sloppy is this that they could put the lamp together incorrectly!? Now I have to go through the hassle of returning this thing.
