This product was precisely the study seat I was looking for on paper. It was just tall enough, the seat tilted forward a bit, I didn't need a back.
It is rock-bottom simple and cheap, though. The tilting lock mechanism does lock, but is tricky to set without bumping, and the locking handle unscrews instead of unlocking the setting. The seat was inelegant and very uncomfortable, but luckily I could play with that. I rebuilt the seat with a little airspace and upholstery tape under the padding and it's better now. ( I often find myself paying in time for money savings...)
The assembly instructions weren't clear either, but I figured it out. It has the over-all feel of a product cobbled together for as little expense as possible. Still, it now works for me and I'm sitting on it as I write this.
