Function (4/5):
This foot rest is fairly simple in theory to adjust. There is a portion at the bottom middle of the foot rest that you pinch to raise and lower the height of the foot rest. I found this to stick a bit, but I'll bring some tools into work with me tomorrow to tighten everything up and it shouldn't be a problem. The top portion can be adjusted to adjust the angle of the foot rest. I don't actually know how that works, but more on that latter.

Construction (4/5):
This is a very solid feeling construction when it is put together. The only plastic pieces were the washers, which will act more as a compression fitting in this situation.

Assembly (1/5):
The handy little sheet that shows how the foot rest functions was not in the box.

Mine came partially assembled (1) several nuts, washers, bolts were loose in the box, and (2) there was no top metal bracket. None of the bolts or nuts were stripped. By deduction I was able to look at what was installed and copy cat. However it's really curious that a QC didn't catch that they weren't tight. More concerning to me is that it was completely missing the top metal bracket and associated hardware. This isn't a fault of the seller, but more of a product issue.

I've contacted the seller asking for the bracket and associated hardware. If I do not get a response, this item will be returned. I'll be a little bit sad because it feels very rugged and durable.
