It's one of those products that does the job but seems overpriced. The three-way bulb (not included) works nicely with the lampshade. The color of the wood is beige brown and not the darker hue shown in the image. The lamp pole/base could be thinner to make it more elegant- this is design 101. The thick (1.5 inch in diameter-) pole) gives the lamp a less than elegant look. I would have been happy if it was half the price. Amateur design for 160 dollars. Look around some more before deciding on this one.
