I love the look of this chair. The material is a nice linen but I think the color has some grey undertones and is not a true beige. The chairs are sturdy but I'm not sure how well they would hold up to younger children. I would spray them with fabric protector even if you don't have children. They are comfortable but I would be concerned about the seat cushion if you use this chair ever day. one of the arms is under stuffed and several of the legs have scratches on them. I just used some scratch repair pens and they are fine. The problems weren't enough of a concern for me to return them but its never a good thing to have to repair something that's brand new. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase and cost of these chairs.
