Rolodex 82448 Distinctions Desk Laptop Stand Review

I've been using the Rolodex 82448 Laptop stand for six months now and have found it to be a well designed product which I use daily. It works as advertised with good ventilation provided through the mesh platform and a stable base when used on a table or countertop. The height adjustment is easy and useful when needed. Because of the flat, rigid base it's not very stable when placed on top of your lap, but then again that's really not what it's designed for. The only minor gripe I have is the audio/mic jacks along the front edge of my Vaio notebook are blocked from being used while resting on the stand.. easy enough to get around by sliding the notebook down a bit until it's rubber feet catch on the stand, but it's a lot less secure by doing so and could easily slip off the stand. Having said that, this could be more of a design issue with my notebook, which could have benefited with the jacks being placed on either side instead of the front.
