These bookcases are beautiful and sturdy, and all of the pieces fit well. One really nice (and unusual) features is that the shelf supports have pins that fix the shelves in position instead of just letting them rest on top and counting on friction.

Delivery was prompt and everything was in good condition.

The assembly instructions were too awful for words - worst I have ever seen. They give you one sheet that does not clearly identify the parts, and that actually has part numbers that do not match the bags of hardware. The written instructions fail to mention important things to do, like inserting dowels in the holes that are drilled for them. I had to stare at the parts and figure out what to do myself, which was ok as I am quite experienced at assembling furniture like this. If you are not experienced, you probably want to avoid this product or find someone to help you.

Also, you will be really unhappy by the time you are done if you don't have a power screwdriver. The back is held on by ~40 small screws that do not have pre-drilled pilot holes. Doing this with a hand screwdriver will be torture.

One word of caution and slight criticism: The product includes EXACTLY the hardware you need, without a single spare. So be careful not to break or lose anything. To me this seems kind of chintzy. I have bought similar products from other manufacturers, who always include one extra for each piece of hardware, and always appreciated this. This bookcase is more expensive and of higher quality than those others, so it doesn't seem to much to ask to throw in a couple of extra screws.
