Bought this lamp for a kids desk and returned it due to the incredible heat generated by the lamp shade. I expected some heat since the shade is copper but this lamp will flat out burn you (as it did me). Impossible to adjust once it's been on for 15 minutes since you must adjust with the shade and it you can't touch it to adjust.
