This lamp is a piece of junk! I received it in just two days with our Amazon Prime account. Whoopee. Fat lot of good that does me now!
I used this lamp exactly two times. It was plugged in near my computer. The cord was not damaged by me or anyone else in the household. The lamp was extracted from it's box very carefully by my husband. He looked it over, plugged it in (this was the first use). It turned on so he set it up for me so that I would have more light to see my bills, etc as the room light was not quite enough light for me when it got dark outside.
I used it a second time about a week later.
Then we went on vacation.
I just turned it on again today...it did not turn on at all. There should not have been anything wrong with it. It was not mishandled or damaged by anyone in our household. It was not dropped. It was not folded, spindled or mutilated as the saying goes. It just sat there in a quiet corner near my computer.
For $71 it is not a bargain! It is a piece of crap! DO NOT BUY IT! It is a waste of your money. And of course it crapped out two days after the return date! I am seriously pissed off. Not sure I will ever buy anything from Amazon again!
