This is a well constructed & attractive lamp. the packaging is very good, nothing bent deformed of broken. There is however one problem. The lamp harp (the wire thingie that holds the shade above the bulb) is far too short for any regular bulb. I had to buy a harp from the store in order to use this lamp. The packaged harp is 6" & you really do need an 8" harp. I even tried to use a mini florescent bulb but even it hit the top of the harp. I will have to say that the harp that is sent with the lamp is of very high quality, just too short. I would have given this 5 stars if they shipped an 8" harp.
