Real Good Chair by Blu Dot Review

This is the first online review I've ever written - I felt I had to write one for these chairs since the earlier review was so negative. We have two of these chairs in red and are thinking of getting two more to use the whole set as dining chairs.

We love the design - they have almost look like origami furniture. My girlfriend and I often call them "the bat chairs" in our house since they have an aerodynamic quality as well. And we haven't had any problems with "collapsing" like the previous reviewer. Since they can be self-assembled, you do have to make sure that the bolts remain tight - sometimes you have to retighten them to keep them sturdy. We've only had to retighten them a few times after several years of ownership. That's really not a big deal in my mind.

Overall these are surprisingly affordable, unique and fun modern chairs. And they are fairly comfortable for metal chairs as well. Plus Blue Dot now separately sells thin cushions for the chairs as well, which would certainly add comfort.
